Education Classes- Payment Policies, Fees & Discounts

PAYMENT POLICYA payment of at least 1/2 tuition is required to reserve a spot in any youth class. Tuition must be paid in full by the 3rd week of a trimester and the 5th week of a semester (unless a payment plan has been arranged).
REFUND POLICYPrior to the 3rd class of a trimester and the 5th class of a semester, class tuition is refundable minus classes reserved/taken. There are no refunds after the 3rd class of a trimester or the 5th class of a semester. A credit may be applied to future registration.

Drops must occur 48 hours prior to the reserved class.
MAKE-UP CLASSESDue to absences or late registration, each student is allowed to take 2 make-up classes each trimester or 4 make-up classes each semester within the same term in an equivalent, age appropriate class (space permitting). We do not pro-rate tuition.
TRIAL CLASSESA free trial class is available to new students, through the 3rd week of each trimester and the 5th week of each semester (space permitting). Upon registration, the cost of the trial class will be included in the tuition.

Yearly Family Registration Fee$35.00
Family ValueFamilies who register their child in a second class, or another sibling in the same term, receive 5% off each additional class (note, discount is applied to the lowest priced class(es))
Performance Workshop DiscountPW Students receive 15% off additional class (not including BAXco)
Playspace Class CardsBAX offers class cards for drop-in Playspace classes. Families can purchase a 10 class card for $80. Class cards are valid for 1 year.* Playspace included for free with Move & Groove registration.
Park Slope Parents MembersPSP Members receive 5% off tuition (excluding registration fee and school break programs). Members must request this discount at the time of registration and be prepared to show membership card to registration desk upon request.

Registration is taken on a first come, first serve basis. Half of the tuition must be received to secure a spot. Registration will be voided if full payment is not received or postmarked by the following dates:

REFUND POLICY

President’s Week Arts Program-Cancellations or changes made on or before Saturday, February 4, 2017, will be accepted and refunded minus a flat $35 cancellation fee.

Cancellations after Saturday, February 4th will incur a late cancellation fee of $35/day, provided BAX can fill the spot with a full-paying student. If the spot cannot be filled, all tuition will be forfeited.

Spring Break Arts Program- Cancellations or changes made on or before Saturday, March 25, 2017,  will be accepted and refunded minus a flat $35 cancellation fee.

Cancellations after Saturday, March 25th will incur a late cancellation fee of $35/day, provided BAX can fill the spot with a full-paying student. If the spot cannot be filled, all tuition will be forfeited.

Extended Day Program- Cancellations made on or before Saturday, February 4th for PWAP and Saturday, March 25th for SBAP will be accepted and refunded.

Extended Day Program payments are transferable within the same week-long program. If there is a request for a difference in service (i.e., from half-time to full-time, or a day of reservation rather than an advanced reservation) the related additional fee(s) will be applied.

* Additional fees may apply to students who are not picked up within their registered pick-up time.

Summer Arts Program- Payment Policies, Fees & Discounts

Summer Arts Program- Registration Opens Monday, January 30, 2017

Weekly Fee $470/week
Annual, non-refundable, Registration Fee $35/family

Registration is taken on a first come, first serve basis. Half of the tuition must be received to secure a spot. Registration will be voided if full payment is not received or postmarked by Thursday, June 1, 2017.

REFUND POLICY

On or before Monday, May 1, 2017, cancellations accepted minus a flat $25 cancellation fee.

After Monday, May 1, 2017, cancellations incur a $50 fee per week, provided BAX can fill the spot  with a full paying student. If spot cannot be filled all tuition is forfeited. In the event that a cancellation occurs after May 1st but more than 4 weeks before the start of the week(s) being canceled, BAX will credit a family’s account the value of the canceled week(s) minus the $50 per week cancellation fee to be used towards future programming.

Registration fee is non-refundable.

Switching Weeks
There is a $25 /per week charge for switching one week for another, provided BAX receives at least two weeks notice. Less than two weeks notice, changes  will be treated as a cancellation (see above).

Extended Day Program

Cancellations of Extended Day registrations made at least two weeks in advance will be accepted and fully refunded.

Extended Day Program payments are transferable within the same week-long program. If there is a request for a difference in service (i.e., from half-time to full-time, or a day of reservation rather than an advanced reservation) the related additional fee(s) will be applied.
